The Water Cooler is a place to gather and converse about both customer support issues as well as other less business related topics. Just as with a "real" water cooler, this one can be used to reach out and connect with other people on a variety of topics. Here is what the Water Cooler looks like: There are six catagories you can share: When you click one of these icons, the follow form will appear. Simply type in a message, select the Group you want to share with and click share. You can use the tool bar to style up your message and also embed URL's. The groups that appear correspond with the groups you have created in your account. This is a great way to direct specific messages to the right department within your company. Just as you can insert ticket links within tickets, you can do the same here. Clicking the Insert Ticket Link button will present you with the following form. You can type in a keyword or a ticket number. The end result is a link that others can click and open the ticket immediately. Finally, the status updates you perform located at the top center of the TeamSupport application will appear in the water cooler as well. |
